Children And Youth
Child-Friendly Church
We have been awarded the Child-Friendly Church Award in recognition of the importance we place on our children and their part in the life of our church.
Sunday Children's Groups
On Sunday morning during the On-Line service we usually break into age-related groups for activities.
Junior Mission for All
Some young people choose to support JMA by regularly collecting from volunteers within the congregation.
The King's Club
During the summer, a Primary school aged holiday club meets for a week of mornings. This is run by Churches Together. Christchurch is fully involved in supporting this activity. This year it will be held at St Margaret's Church for the week 17 - 21 August 2009.
Music Movers
On Tuesday mornings Music Movers gives those with very young children a chance to sing and dance together. A new Christian song is included each week amongst the well known children's classics.
Parents & Toddlers
On a Monday morning, Mum's & Toddlers (and Dads, and Grandparents, . . ) offers a chance for some social interaction. Every other week this involves a short Bible story led by one of our church members.
Safeguarding Children
As part of our commitment to children, safeguarding polices and practices are in place at Christchurch.
Rainbows, Brownies & Guides
Four uniformed groups meet at Christchurch.
Youth

The Yics (aged 11 - 14 years) now have a programme of social activities in addition to their On-Line sessions.
