Except for school holidays this group meets every Monday from 10:00 until 11:30am in a delightfully bright and spacious room with good facilities. About 70 children, parents, grandparents and carers attend each week.
We warmly welcome children from babies in arms to pre-school toddlers accompanied by their parents, mums or dads, grandparents or carers. There is a happy friendly atmosphere.
We have a good range of toys and equipment and a quieter area for the younger children to crawl on a large rug.
Healthy fruit snacks and water are served to the children, with tea and coffee for the adults.
We have the occasional visit from helpers like Caroline who come to do food related activities with the children. Caroline also runs craft based parties, keeping little fingers busy with fabulous fun crafts that are themed and tailored to suit your child's needs. You can find her at her ArtiePartyz website.
Each morning concludes with 15 minutes of singing action songs and nursery rhymes, which the children love. Fortnightly, we have a ten minute Christian story-time at 10:45am.
The cost £1 for each walking child.

We are always being asked about our Playdough recipe - so here it is:
Playdough Recipe
· 1/2 cup salt
· 1 cup flour
· 1 tablespoon cream of tartar
· 1 tablespoon oil
· 1 cup water
· food colouring
Combine ingredients in a saucepan.
Heat gently, stirring all the time.
When the dough has a good consistency, take it off the heat and allow to cool.
Keep in a sealed container - no need to refrigerate.
