We seek to make our worship relevant to today's changing situations, supporting our congregations in their everyday lives whilst encouraging meaningful worship of our great God. We have a variety of styles of worship at Christchurch.
On Sunday at 9:00am, we have a contemporary, all-age, child-friendly, interactive service which often involves breaking into discussion groups.
Later in the morning at 10:30am (10:45am in March and April 2013 as a trial) our preaching service seeks to be prayerful, reflective and relevant, and includes communion on the first Sunday of each month.
Our evening service has a smaller congregation, but a multiplicity of styles, including traditional, modern worship, Pizza Praise Café-Style, Healing Services, and worship in the style of Taize. Also, each month, we join with our friends from All Saints Parish and Ilkley Baptist Churches for a joint evening service held in rotation at the three premises.
Friday morning sees a short 20 minute service for those who wish to have a break from their shopping, or for whom Friday is a convenient time to worship.
Of course, our church is happy to support those looking for a baptism, wedding or funeral, and these can be arranged within our Sunday services or at other times.
