Ten Thirty Service

Close up of Organ stops

This is a preaching service with a variety of musical forms which aims to reflect the news and contemporary issues, allowing times for thoughtful reflection and prayerful response to the preaching. The involvement of members of the congregation is encouraged in reading scripture, leading prayers, and occasional short sketches. Worship leaders sometimes share the service with the minister or preacher.

The Christchurch Singers, contribute to the worship with anthems, introits, and by leading songs and chants.

Rob preaching - Environment Sunday November 2009

After worship all are welcome to stay for fellowship over coffee, an excellent opportunity to meet with friends or make new ones. There is a 'welcome table' for newcomers to introduce themselves and meet us informally.

On the first Sunday of every month, Holy Communion is celebrated.

Baptisms are welcome and arranged by appointment.
