Evening Worship
Sunday evening worship usually starts at 6:30pm. It is generally much more intimate than the morning services, with a smaller congregation. Like the 10:30am service, it often, but not always, follows the traditional structure of a preaching service. Other types of service add varity to our worship.
Please check the Calendar to confirm the style of Evening Service, the start time and location.
Second Sunday
A NEW service, starting in January 2010 to replace Prayer, Praise and Preaching. It will place emphasis on worship and teaching, being led by a dedicated small team.
Taizé Style Worship
On the last Sunday of alternate months (January, March, May, July, September, November) we have an ecumenical service in the style of the Taizé Community. This is a reflective service, with repetitive chants and quite long periods of silence for prayer and meditation. It is very popular; people come from well outside the Ilkley area and from other local churches in addition to our own congregation.
Churches Together
Every month, on the third Sunday, we join with our fellow Christians from Ilkley Baptist Church and All Saints Parish Church. These services are hosted by each church in turn.
