Christchurch is a member of Churches Together in Ilkley (CTI). The other members of CTI are Ben Rhydding Methodist Church, the three Anglican Churches of All Saints, St John's Ben Rhydding and St Margaret's, the Baptist Church, the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, the Society of Friends, and the Discovery Church (Assemblies of God).
The clergy meet together on a weekly basis. There are occasional CTI United Services, exchanges of pulpits and open air acts of worship such as the Sunrise Service at Easter. Other joint events are arranged from time to time; some of them to raise financial support for the CTI 2000 Project, a house in Ilkley with accommodation for three young people with learning difficulties.
King's Club
The King's Club is an annual holiday club run by the Churches Together in Ilkley every August for 5 to 11 years olds. Each year it takes a different theme to teach children about Jesus. It meets for a week every morning (10-12 noon) with a celebration for all the family on the Friday at 12 noon. A different church hosts it each year.
Lent Seminars
Every other year, a programme of seminars is run through the period of Lent. The theme this year is "Hope in God's Future"

Prayer 24:7 - Sunday 18 September to Sunday 18 December 2011
Join us to pray without ceasing... (Ephesians 6:18-20)
A group of leaders and lay people from across several churches have been meeting together to discuss building on the heritage of past and current prayer in Ilkley to intercede further for God’s blessing and healing for our town, and the Wharfedale Valley.
The result is an invitation to join with many other Christians in the area to establish a three-month period of united, continuous (known as 24:7) prayer from Sunday 18th September to Sunday 18th December.
To achieve continuous prayer, we are setting up a weekly rota made up of 168 hour slots. The idea is that individuals, groups or families volunteer to cover a slot (or more if they want) and use the time each week to pray for Ilkley and the valley.
You can pray where you like and in whatever way you like, and there will be a handout provided with some ideas, prayer points and a special prayer of blessing written for Ilkley by members of All Saints Church.
To volunteer for a slot, or to submit an existing prayer meeting to the rota, please contact Ruth Jones.
There are further details on the CTI website.
