Dad's Big Breakfast

An opportunity to spend some quality time together whilst participating in some of the activities on offer, and having breakfast.

All kinds of Dads are welcome; Dads, Foster Dads, Step Dads, Grandads, Carers with children who want to give their partner a rest, or it’s their turn to have the children for the weekend. It's a great place to spend some precious but not pressured time with the kids in a safe friendly environment.

Dad’s Big Breakfast will allow a space for Dad’s to share tips and suggestions on subjects as diverse as parenting, getting children to sleep, eat, and calm down and good places to take them to wear them out and normal dads things like decent pubs, restaurants, work and getting some help to sort out the fencing or move something heavy!

We will serve a cooked breakfast (including veggie ones) toast, cereal, fruit, fresh coffee and tea, and squash.

There will be Nintendo Wii, Xbox with Knect on big screen, Digital Scalextric's, Pool, Table Tennis, baking, craft, board games and plenty more for Dad's and kids to play with together.

The next Dad’s Big Breakfast will be 23 March 2013 9:00am till 11:00am in the Ridding hall, and the cost is £3.50 for Dads and 50p for children.  Further dates are 27 April and 29 June.
