THE GUILD.
Meets weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 2.30 to 4pm.
This is a friendly meeting and everyone is warmly invited. The meetings usually start with short devotions followed by a guest speaker, sometimes with slides, power point presentations or music. At times we arrange our own home spun afternoon’s entertainment from a wide range of talent within Christchurch. The afternoon always ends with a cup of tea giving an opportunity for some friendly chat.
People who have recently come to live in Ilkley find it a good place to make friends.
Wednesday Group
Meetings are held on alternate Wednesday evenings, 7.30 to 9.30pm, between September and June.
Come and join a lively friendly group of mature ladies who at their meetings have interesting talks and slide shows from a range of visiting speakers. These, apart from increasing our knowledge, also promotes questions and discussions, thus increasing the fellowship between us. Our support is given to church activities and fund raising; yearly we choose a local charity, raising funds by lunches and a stall at our meetings.
Visitors and new members are assured of a warm welcome.
