Simon joined Christchurch as Minister in September 2026. Along with decades of ministry experience, he brings a heart for pastoral care, community engagement and helping people grow in faith.

Originally from Burnley, Simon has served in ministry for more than 30 years. He trained for ministry in Manchester and has led churches in Warrington and Gloucestershire,

Simon is passionate about getting to know people, hearing their stories, and discerning together where God is at work.

He is married to Debbie, who works who works in education leadership. They have three grown-up children and are delighted to be part of the Christchurch community, looking forward to building friendships, sharing faith and serving the church’s future together.​
